Draw boxes. Hold ground.

Drag anywhere on the desktop to claim a box. Drag over someone else's colour and you take only the overlap — the rest of their box is still theirs. Boxes cost ink, big boxes cost more, and ink refills on its own, so you cannot simply paint the screen.

How you actually win: PrtSc

Every 5 seconds the board is photographed. You bank whatever share of the desktop you are holding at that instant — hold a quarter of it, bank 25 points. Watch the PrtSc meter in the taskbar fill; the screen flashes when the shutter goes.

Nothing else scores. Not boxes drawn, not cells stolen, not power-ups grabbed. Which means:

• Ground you cannot keep is worth nothing. Take a region and lose it between snapshots and you banked nothing for it.
• A grab at the buzzer cannot buy the match. It is two shutters out of eighteen. It settles a close one; it does not rewrite one.
• Quitting forfeits: your ground goes neutral, your score goes to zero.
• At the end, Avg held is that score put back into percent. At end is only where you finished — it decides nothing.

Power-ups

Two to five appear per match, at most one of each. Draw a box that fully contains the icon to claim it.

Take three of them and every other machine bluescreens for four seconds while you keep drawing. Getting hit by Defrag opens the defragmenter over your board until it finishes with you.

The last 15 seconds

Ink becomes free and the cooldown almost vanishes — but the size cap drops hard, so the finale rewards drawing faster, not bigger. Your marquee turns amber when the drag hits that cap.
